Providing Coverage of the Heartland's Ever-Changing Weather
ABOUT
Established by a few meteorology students at Western Illinois University in November 2013, Severe Weather Center is a public service to those who live in and around the communities we call home. As meteorologists, our mission is to keep you (our loyal followers) well-informed about any weather hazards that will impact your community. Along with posting about pertinent weather hazards in our coverage area, daily forecasts will be posted for select communities in our coverage area. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter to get up-to-date weather alerts and information, as well as geek out about the weather with us! We are eager to share our passion for weather with you!
